Why am I receiving the "Authentication failed" error message at login?

The Authentication failed error message typically means that the incorrect password is being entered in the smartportal password field.

When a registered smartportal email address is entered, but an incorrect password is entered, the Authentication failed error message will be returned.

To Resolve this Issue:

Enter the correct password entered during your account registration, or possibly during the last password reset.

If you cannot remember your registered smartportal password, click the Reset Password link to set a new password for your account.
